BG Ultrasound - Research and Development.
Designs, implements, tests & supports new ultrasound product offerings.
Your Responsibilities:
Signal & Image Processing Software Development.
In this area, engineers work in an embedded signal and image processing and graphics environments, developing algorithms for enhancing and presenting acquired ultrasound data in the current and future generations of Philips ultrasound products.
Software will be carried through the full development life-cycle: requirement gathering, specification, design, coding, and test.
Your Profile:
- MS or BS in Computer Science. Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
- 7-10 years or more software development experience which may include internship and/or co-op experience
- Knowledge of and/or experience with modern object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++), design and coding
- Experience with DirectX & other graphics programs
- Knowledge of signal processing concepts a plus
- Knowledge of computer graphics/rendering a plus
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Strong communication skills
