Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 Client is seeking a developer who will create and maintain product installers. The ideal candidate will have experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting complex installers with a large customer base. Having sufficient experience to make technical recommendations, develop detailed task lists, and execute those tasks to a schedule while providing accurate status reports is very desirable.

Knowledge & Skills:
Required: Experience with Microsoft XP and 2003 Server including exposure to Active Directory, ACL, service creation, registry concepts, user/group objects and Windows privileges. Windows Installer (MSI) InstallShield experience with both InstallScript and Basic MSI type projects. Proficient in VBScript and InstallScript. Desired: Microsoft Server 2008.
Helpful: Microsoft Visual Studio, C/C++, DLL development.

Makes decisions affecting the outcome of projects. Effectively provides technical leadership on projects of various types (including complex projects). Expert that can teach, coach, mentor others in software engineering. May be utilized to increase the capability of the discipline across the organization.
Typical education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field. Advanced degree is desired.
