Position Description:This position is responsible for service delivery and support of network systems and solutions. This includes monitoring the availability of network services, capacity management, architecture oversight and vendor management for all LAN, WAN, Voice and Extranet related services. The support aspects of this position entail managing internal resources, a Global Outsource supplier agreement and other supplier agreements for the delivery of these services. The scope of this position includes:

On-Going Network Support: Provide management support for all networking infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling management while exceeding established service level agreements. Analyze and propose additional global/regional actions as appropriate to increase the reliability and performance of the network supporting the sub-region. Review performance with business areas, act as escalation point for business concerns and follow up on network related issues.

Global SLA Management: Proactively monitor, measure, and report the effectiveness of the regional delivery of network services and solutions. Develop and maintain metrics reporting to demonstrate progress toward meeting and exceeding SLA metrics, placing IT in top quartile service delivery.

Outsource Vendor Management: Work with internal resources and outsourcing partners to improve network performance, ensuring systems/solutions are meeting / exceeding availability and performance service levels, decreasing business impacting incidents, lower lost work hours related to IT and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. Position must also ensure that appropriate metrics and scorecard reporting is executed and administered for purposes of managing vendor's and internal performance as well as presentations to senior management in IT.

Required Skills:
Technology background with networking and/or telecom. Cisco background would be preferred since the vast majority of the networking infrastructure is Cisco hardware. Some security background may be helpful given the Extranet responsibility. We are not looking for someone to be hands on and actually implement the changes but they need to understand the service well enough to challenge service provider claims.
