 Our direct client located in New York, NY has multiple needs for a Senior Network Engineer/Architect. The successful candidates should have 5+ years experience in network design and architecture, and be familiar with industry-standard protocols and design concepts.

Qualified candidates should have experience leading teams, be self-directed, and comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization. Candidates with a deep understanding of the business of the financial industry and are comfortable interacting regularly with business line owners are preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing the IP addressing issues related to the merger of several large organizations, including evaluation of the problem, proposed resolution, reconciliation, and best practices for ongoing management.

Requirements:
Juniper M & J Series routers
- Multicast protocols
- MPLS
- Fiber carrier provisioning
- DWDM
- Budget processes
- Ability to interface with the business side and translate business requirements into technology solutions, as well as translate highly technical topics into business level terms and assess business impact
- Ability to create and manage complex project schedules
- Ability to write technical design documents
- Ability create business and technology presentations
- Ability to interface with vendors on both tactical and strategic solutions
