Our Bermuda-based Client, a rapidly growing information technology and communications solutions company has an exciting opportunity for two highly skilled individuals in their telephony division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance of voice, data & wireless communications networks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engineer, design and install Nortel telephony communications networks for new and existing customers
Maintain, support and manage SLAs for new and existing customer networks
Assist in the development and implementation of support strategies and programs
Provide technical guidance to engineers as required
Produce reports and provide training as required
Applicants Should Possess:
Associates Degree or Relevant Technical Certifications are required (i.e. NNCSS, NNCSE, and TCP/IP Internetworking certifications)
Minimum of 5-10 years experience a senior engineer in the field of telecommunications Data, Voice & Wireless systems
A demonstrated commitment to quality
Initiative and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, this includes evenings, and weekends as required
Ability to interact with customers, staff and vendors
Working experience engineering, installing and maintaining the following Nortel Networks products is essential: Norstar, BCM, Meridian 1 Succession, OTM, and CallPilot
Working experience engineering, installing and maintaining the following Nortel Networks products would be desirable: Symposium, Baystack, WLAN VoIP and VoIP networks solutions
Working experience with Microsoft suite of applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio Technical is essential
