Our Bermuda-based Client, a rapidly growing information technology and communications solutions company has an exciting opportunity for two highly skilled individuals in their telephony division.
The successful candidate should be an experienced telecommunications specialist who is self-motivated, possesses superb customer service skills and fulfills the following requirements:
At least five years experience as a telecommunications specialist previous experience with Avaya telephone systems (IP, PBX and key systems) and voicemail systems is essential
IP Telephony experience is essential experience with VOIP and knowledge of the issues that impact voice quality
Experience with the following voice solutions is desirable Unified Messaging, call accounting, voice recording systems, wireless telephone systems and Interactive Voice Response solutions
Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Cisco routers, gateways, IP routing, Q0S, LAN and WAN technologies would be an asset
Must illustrate experience with project specific consulting, including system design, system optimization, project implementation, installation services and project documentation
Provide day-to-day administration, proactive testing, maintenance and problem resolution of voice systems
Previous involvement in a sales support role gathering client requirements, designing configurations and presenting solutions to clients
Ability to deliver new voice applications from introduction to successful installation
Must be highly organized, flexible and possess self-initiative
Interfacing with local telephone company and other third parties to resolve issues and problems in a timely and efficient manner
Will be required to participate in a 7x24 support roster
The following certifications are most desirable: Avaya ACA, MCSE, and CCNA
Post secondary degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
