The Global Client Services Hosting Service Engineer – UNIX/Linux position is responsible for Tier 3 troubleshooting and maintenance functions for the comapny's Managed Hosting product suite.
Position Objectives:
• Resolve Tier 3 issues as defined in established departmental guidelines and escalation procedures
• Perform incident, problem and change management in accordance with the established workload guidelines within the department
Essential duties:
• Follow the company's Global Client Services Guidelines document for salaried employees
• Troubleshoot issues escalated to Tier 3 as they relate to your area of expertise
• Follow all documented procedures related to the position
• Maintain turnover and ownership of current workload
• Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions
• Participate in special projects within and outside of Global Client Services as necessary
• Always work on improving knowledge base as it relates to the company's product offerings
