Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will join OPNET’s Information Systems Division, which is responsible for the full development lifecycle of OPNET's internal business applications. You will take an active role in System Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Deployment and Maintenance of the applications.
In some instances, applications will be developed from the ground up, in others you will be updating or enhancing existing business applications at OPNET.

Qualifications
Here's what you should bring to the table:

* BA/BS in Information Systems or appropriate past experience
* 1 - 2 years experience in database technology
* Knowledge of web application development is a must (Ruby on Rails preferred)
* Knowledge and experience with relational databases, data modeling concepts
* Knowledge of Object Oriented languages required (Ruby, Java)
* Knowledge of front end query tools. Unix, Windows and Mac OSX experience a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and Interpersonal skills
* Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
