Video Bios Software Engineer – Visual Computing Group
Intel Corporation is looking for experienced Video Bios Software Engineers for developing Video Basic Input Output System (VBIOS) software for current and future graphics products.
Responsibilities:
-Review and understand component hardware specs and translate that into developing a production VBIOS, video BIOS table programming, modifying utilities, and others
-Understand issues faced by customers, interaction between VBIOS and systems BIOS and graphics Soft BIOS subsystems, debugging graphics defects and implementing needed fixes in video BIOS
Requirements:
-Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of experience in software design and development.
-Strong programming skills with assembly language
-Experience with Display technology (DVI, LVDS, Display Port, CRT, TV would be an added advantage)
-Firmware development and debugging (ITP/ICE/Logic analyzer experience would be an added advantage)
