We currently have a One Year Contract opportunity for - IT Support Analyst - with our direct Health Insurance client located in Columbia, SC.
Complete Description
The individual will be a part of the Claims Strategic Development team, who is charged with rewriting systems, enhancing existing functions and implementing new functions.
The individual will need to work with both Operational and Technical teams to analyze existing processes, gather and document requirements, validate designs and test plans.
The Operational teams will include all levels from clerks to Sr VPs. Technical team interactions will include all levels from developers to CIO. Individuals must be flexible and very versatile.
In a combined project team setting, the individual will be expected to participate in all phases of projects: scope, design, test and implementation.
They will work with both Operational and Technical teams to ensure that we are delivering the right product.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and prioritization of business support-related activities.
Ensure that the design and integration of proposed process, system, software, and hardware solutions lead to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.
Function as a lead analyst ensuring that department policies, acceptable procedures and standard methodologies are used in all reviews.
Review proposed major IS system enhancements and identify system issues related to business support.
Ensure cohesion in the customer area and assist both technical and customer departments in the development of the systems.
Gain an understanding of the big picture; direction of the various business units, and facilitate the transfer of this understanding to others in the supported business unit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly motiviated; must be a leader.
