Job description:
Our company is expanding its IP Telephony solutions team. As a Cisco IP Telephony Engineer, you will be integrally involved with a wide range of technologies, including IP Telephone Systems, VXML Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, Email Managers, Cisco Web Collaboration services, CTI Desktop applications, Siebel, Remedy, Messaging systems, Advanced Reporting systems, various database platforms and various Web Servers.
Although this position will involve frequent travel (up to 75%), it also offers a unique opportunity to help clients with their most challenging, and most cutting-edge, technology initiatives.
Your role will encompass the full-life-cycle of a technology implementation project, and you will interact closely with the client to meet specific needs throughout the process. You will work as part of a team of professionals that play a key role in implementing solutions and delivering results.
In this role, you will work with the following:
Cisco Call Manager Installation and Configuration
Cisco Unity Voice Mail Installation and Configuration
Voice Gateway Installation and Configuration
IP Telephony Solution Design
Required Skills:
For this position, we are seeking an individual who is a Cisco Certified IPT Engineer -
CCIE or CCNP.
In addition, we are seeking someone with 3-5 years or more of experience with as many of the following CISCO IPT products as possible:
Cisco CallManager
Cisco Unity Voice Mail Systems
Cisco AVVID Architecture
Routers / Voice Gateways
Cisco Voice Portal (CVP)
The ideal candidate will also have:
Hands on experience in large multi-site call center environments
Strong Consulting and Communication Skills
Confidence and experience in front of clients
History of technical design and delivery capabilities
Bachelor's Degree
CCVP certification a plus
