We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Human Resource Management System Development to join us.
Responsibilities:
Manage the development efforts for Human Resources (HR) applications including PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS), compensation, benefits, payroll systems and third party products that interface to downstream applications
Lead the full lifecycle of HR projects and key operational/support tasks
Work with managers to define technical services and develop proposals that include scope of work, cost estimates and resource plans
Provide project oversight and administration including written status reports, issues tracking, change control and status meetings to review outstanding project requests and issues
Maintain support for existing applications including technology upgrades, maintenance, issue resolution and enhancements
Provide hands-on technical experience while developing new services and problem resolution on support issues
Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and clients
Coordinate with various parties involved including clients, Information Technology Support groups and third-party vendors, if applicable
Provide feedback to performance managers about team members
Qualifications:
Six years of systems analysis and program development experience
Three years of experience as a project manager responsible for application development projects
Hands-on development and project management experience in PeopleSoft
Experience with HRMS/Compensation/Benefits/Payroll modules in version 8.8 or higher
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities
Collaborative interpersonal skills
Experience as a primary project leader on successful midsize application development projects from requirements through implementation
Solid experience with requirements gathering and business process analysis
Strong knowledge of database and reporting tools including Oracle, SQL as well as PeopleTools (Peoplecode, SQR's)
Familiarity with project management and documentation tools including Microsoft Project
Experience with evaluating and integrating third party products, application implementation and support procedures
PeopleSoft HRMS or HCM version 8.8 or higher
Hands-on expertise with Peoplecode (MUST BE ABLE TO CODE – to help junior developers with issues).
Solid Project Management skills and good communication skills.
