Title:CSA Installation Team
Location: Arlington, VA
Contract Period: 5 Years
Job Hours: Monday – Friday, times can be flexible
Starting Range: Commensurate with experience
Security Clearance: Minimum Interim Secret Required
Job Duties: Main duties are as follows, but may include other responsibilities as deemed necessary:
• Respond to telephone, electronic mail, and/or walk-in requests for support for all systems and equipment within the IMCEN Implementation environment in accordance with current or revised Implementation Branch SOP’s and/or service level agreements.
• Install Microcomputer systems for new HQDA users and replace existing systems following a pre-defined checklist.
• Install and configure any software that is on a HQDA pre-approved list based on set schedule. Install and troubleshoot all HQDA approved peripherals such as RIM Blackberry 6710, Palm PDA, and smart card readers.
• Troubleshoot problems encountered using microcomputer software; Perform hardware/software testing and installation
• Perform network and desktop-based detection of viruses to counter/eliminate/control, detect, contain and eliminate virus infestations.
• Provide limited one-on-one desk side training for customers requiring assistance on standard software applications and/or IT equipment.
• Provide general technical support for all dial-in/remote access systems and other remote systems
• Evaluate hardware, firmware, peripherals, software packages, etc., for use by staff and provide recommendations to accomplish the desired objectives.
• Ensure technical safeguards are maintained to provide controlled user access, integrity of electronic mail, applications and user data.
