Lead Tivoli Storage Manager /Senior Systems Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lead Tivoli Storage Manager /Senior Systems Engineer Will:
Administer and manage Tivoli Storage Management Backup servers.
Perform backup and restore on Tivoli for Exchange Server 2003.
After hour support for Tivoli backups from site administrators and personnel.
Troubleshoot TSM issues and tape library issues.
Making suggestions for configuration changes within the Visns.
Will be working with the TSM and Disaster Recovery team to have a plan for recovering an exchange site in the event of a disaster.
Train each site on the administration and day to day activities with TSM
Perform TSM and Exchange Disaster Recovery.
Handle Level III support of Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2003 servers
Assist with back up and restores
Support of Blackberry units and servers
Monitoring and reporting on Exchange environment
Apply patches to multiple platforms
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft BackOffice products
Experience with Tivoli Storage Management
Needs to be familiar with TSM installations, configurations, troubleshooting.
Familiar with Encryption, Archiving, Tape pools, Copy pools, Archive pools, Policy Domains, Management Classes, Client Nodes, etc.
Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and Systems Management Server.
Apply multidisciplinary skills to resolve enterprise-wide IT problems
Experience in Enterprise Exchange 5.5, 2000, or 2003 environments
Knowledge in use of Remedy Action request system
Experience with Microsoft clustering technologies
Knowledge of Exchange migration techniques
Knowledge of Back up applications and topologies
Knowledge with Blackberry Exchange Server (BES) is a plus
May provide 24/7 on call support
QUALIFICATIONS
Position requires a minimum of five years experience
Tivoli Storage Management experience
Medium to high level knowledge of TSM / Tivoli Storage Manager in a Windows environment.
(Note: This position is at a level that is higher than a TSM Administrator.)
Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering preferred or 5 years of specialized experience in Lieu of degree.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 2000/2003 is a must
Working proficiency in English (written and oral); ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues in work environment.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Individuals selected, shall be subject to a background from the Office of Security and Law Enforcement prior to project performance. MUST BE A US CITIZEN
