Headway Corporate Resources seeks talented and experienced Private Equity Fund Accountants to join Professional Services team of global software solutions organization in New York!!!
Your role will be to aid in the understanding and translation of the business workflow processes and specific financial administration and analysis requirements of private equity clients.
Responsibilities
Utilize keen understanding of private equity marketplace, the intricacies of recording private equity assets, fund administration, and partnership accounting to help business system analysts and project managers translate private equity firm specific business and financial processes into Equitrak project plans and system modification needs
Assess client business structural and operations requirements from a financial perspective; designing customized solutions leveraging the flexibility of the Equitrak product; and providing training to private equity division business analysts and project managers
Provide business financial process input to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Equitrak product solution
Arrange and deliver private equity business structure and operations training to private equity division business analysts and project managers
Requirements
In depth knowledge and solid understanding of Private Equity fund structure and operations
Thorough knowledge of partnership and investment accounting and the Private Equity Asset class
Ability to analyze business processes is essential
Prior experience in using financial systems products a definite plus
Minimum 5+ years experience in an accounting role for a private equity fund and/or public accounting experience
Excellent client interaction and communication skills
