System Analyst- 75-100k This position is responsible for helping to design and document workflow, as part of making appropriate technical recommendations to optimize operational effectiveness across various practices. This position will track and analyze business practice trends and make appropriate technical recommendations to ensure systems that support the various practices are integrated efficiently, share common methodologies, etc. This position will be expected to operate in a leadership capacity within a project to influence project success. This position will collaborate with the Lead Analysis & Requirements Manager to help translate business practice requirements into technical solutions. This position must be able to identify and solve problems and seek help from more experienced peers or other available sources, when necessary. This position requires a team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Accountabilities:
The Architecture Systems Analyst is responsible for leading certain activities within a project and typically works on problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data can require an in-depth evaluation of intangible variance factors. This individual exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Develop project deliverables with some direction from supervisor.
- Understand and apply the project lifecycle methodology.
- Balance independent problem solving with proactive, organized requests for support from more experienced peers, when necessary.
- Be a subject matter expert for one or more Citrix and Microsoft product(s) and technology (ies).
- Demonstrate ability to complete assigned tasks on time and on budget, as well as initiative to expand level of responsibility.
- Proactively seek to expand knowledge and supplement skills.
- Maintain professional conduct/presence at all times, along with a "can-do" attitude.
- Develop good working relationships with peers.
- Open to receiving coaching/mentoring feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications:
The Architecture Systems Analyst must have solid verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable discussing technical concepts with persons of varying technical background. This person must be flexible, dependable, and capable of learning new products and technologies. This position should have a good understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, and proficiency in common office productivity software such as Microsoft Office. This position should have good knowledge in or experience with Citrix products and technologies. The individual should also have some basic knowledge of technologies in one or more of the following areas:
- Active Directory
- Browsing and name resolution
- Security
- Networking
Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience and knowledge of system architecture. Position also requires a positive team-oriented attitude, and practical experience with Citrix and/or Microsoft products and technologies.
