Job Description:

 Require skills:-
Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in developing applications on the UNIX (preferably Solaris) platform using C, C++, shell, sybase and oracle. Candidate should have experience with windows based development tools (MS-Access, ODBC), Markup language (HTML, XML), source management tools (SCCS), Reporting tools (SQR) and the software development life cycle. Additionally candidate should have financial knowledge and should have prior experience working with the financial applications.Candidate should be able to translate the high level business requirements in to detailed specifications before development. Candidate should have excellent knowledge of RDBMS concepts, perticularly Sybase and Oracle. Candidate should be able to learn and use Summit APIThe position requires flexibility with work schedule and should be able to provide production support during non-business hours. Candidate must be able to multi task with their workload and assignments. Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English, have strong writing and communication skills, and be team players.

Desired skills:-
Any prior experience with Summit application is a strong advantageExperience with drafting project plans and project management skillsExperience with extracting market data from reuters/bloombergKnowledge of accounting systems
