General Duties:

These positions provide support to the client as follows:
• Assist the client in the operation of its LAN/WAN infrastructure to include tasks such as installing new software, installing hardware and software upgrades, and troubleshooting problems that occur in software which is resident on all network components.
• The client LAN/WAN environment currently handles approximately 950 Windows based (Windows 2000 and Windows XP) personal computers, networked through approximately 45 Windows 2000 and/or 2003 based servers.
Required Technical Skills:
Candidate must have an expert knowledge and experience working with
• Windows 2000, XP
• Microsoft 2000/2003 Server
• Microsoft Active Directory
• DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
• Computer Associates Enterprise Management Software including
o Asset Management
o Software Delivery
o Remote Control
o Service Desk
The LAN/WAN environment is currently using Cisco routers and switches through the organization. The candidate must have a basic knowledge of the Cisco products.
