Our client, an extremely profitable and successful company in St. Louis, is on the hunt for a great Network Admin for a direct hire opportunity.

You will work along side a very talented group of individuals performing a variety of duties ranging from analyzing network connectivity issues by inspecting firewall rules and logs, verifying IPSEC tunnels and private line connectivity, testing connectivity from a Unix of Linux server, and analyzing packet data capture. This person will also be performing lots of moves/adds/changes, which requires time spent planning, designing and implementing these changes. The network is a constantly evolving infrastructure with the design under constant review to ensure that the latest technologies and strategies are applied to create a more stable, robust and highly available environment.
Requirements
At least 5 years industry experience in a Network Operations Management or Network Engineering role.
Strong working knowledge of routing protocols, internet concepts and routing architecture, frame relay and MPLS, IPSEC VPN configuration and troubleshooting, spanning tree and layer two/three switching concepts, firewalls, working knowledge of load balancing and DNS technologies, IP network and related technologies, CISCO IOS, CISCO ACL's and advanced routing protocols, TCP/IP.
A minimum of at least a CISCO CCNA certification also required. CCNP, CCSP or CCIP certifications would be a plus.
Pix Firewall background a plus.
