Team Lead position needs to manage local Desktop Computing Services and Treo Services resources in relationship to scheduling, projects, ticket audits, customer service and communications, team goals and enforcing workflow processes as it relates to best practices.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Team lead in charge of Desktop and Treo Services for US Tier 1
o Work with company management in regards to resource planning for projects.
o Continuous Audits of teams tickets in regards to documentation, Incident classification and SLA's
o Ensuring lease returns are completed according to the goals set in place quarterly for all N. American site locations
o Monitor resources for attendance and resource planning
o Ensure accuracy of documentation of for those items developed for the Help Desk
o Serve as interface between DCS, Treo Services and Help Desk
o Enforce approved workflow processes in relationship to Best Practice methodologies.
o Coordinate coverage in support of client's environment
o Interface/escalate any concerns with US Tier 1 management in regards to on-site resource and infrastructure
o Conduct weekly meetings with all resources in regards to schedules, changes, projects, and on-going issues
o Manage Service requests assigned to the Desktop group
o Report on status and make recommendations within the scope of desktop services
o Serve as escalation point and on-call contact for any related issues or outages

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
o 3-5 years of Basic desktop support experience required.
o Great customer service skills.
o Good technical knowledge of new technologies
o Good Management skills and team assessment
o Basic Networking skills
o Excellent Verbal, Listening and Written Communication skills
o Ability to lead and direct

The US Tier 1 Team is a leveraged organization and many of our members support multiple client projects. These client contracts may require background checks for all members working within the client environment. Additionally, some require screening above and beyond what is required as standard screening for CGI employment in the US; to include, but not limited to, additional criminal history, drug screening and credit reporting in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These background checks are client specific and in most cases are not transferable from one client account to the next. In order to meet the requirements of a leveraged organization, members of the US Tier 1 team may be required to complete multiple background checks during their career at CGI. All new hires into the US Tier 1 team will be required to complete client background check requests within the timeframe stated in the client contract, as a condition of employment with CGI.
