Generates and develops new product ideas and concepts and product improvement designs consistent with Division objectives. Helps coordinate technical and practical analysis to minimize design costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Defines, develops and maintains design analysis methods and develops design features to improve functionality and overall product performance.
• Develops new design concepts relative to assigned and related projects which will advance acceptance of the product/systems.
• Provides technical assistance and liaison to other functions within the corporate sector to resolve problems.
• Prepares project documentation, including monthly reports, responses to test reports.
• Identifies, researches, and solves functional, mechanical and design problems to improve product performance and reliability.
Job Requirements :
• BS degree in Mechanical engineering required. Masters Degree in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical, agricultural or construction and/or reliability preferred.
• 5+ years experience in hydraulic design.
• Desires experience in Pro-E layout and detail design
• Good knowledge of basic hydraulic principles and standard components
