§ History of providing input and guidance on technical architecture decisions
§ Good working knowledge of Unix, SQL
§ Experience with a mix of third party package solutions and custom solutions desirable
§ Experience (in any role) with one or more of the following technologies are highly desirable:
o Windows, Unix (AIX), Oracle, SAS, Java, ETL (Informatica, etc.), batch interface processing
§ Experience with corporate marketing processes and customer databases a plus, but not required

Description:
Project Manager-BTS
Position Objective:
A Project Manager with Technical Manager experience is required to serve as a hands-on, showing strong aptitude on the technical aspects of such implementations. This individual will primarily focus on Corporate Marketing related projects, serving as the primary focal point for Corporate Marketing needs. This includes campaign management and customer datamart related work. He or she will also lead other Corporate IT projects as demands warrant. Will manage 1-3 onshore/offshore analyst and developer consulting staff (may vary significantly with project requirements) and dotted line management of employees as needed for success of project. As this individual will have IT "ownership" of certain applications, production support management is also part of the responsibilities.
Major Opportunities and Decisions:
* Provide hands-on management of small to medium scale projects using various technologies including Oracle datamart, SAS, and Java custom applications supporting Corporate Marketing functions. Coordinate data sourcing activities across multiple profit center IT areas using a variety of technologies.
* Develop deliverables and perform quality assurance and reviews of other project deliverables.
* Serve as the lead point of contact for Corporate Marketing needs. Proactively provide creative solutions to business challenges and continuously evaluate "as-is" environment for improvement.
* Lead technical teams and convert business requirements into technical specifications. Coordinate work of onshore and offshore developers, DBAs, Architecture, Windows and Unix teams.
* Assist in vendor selection for product and services.
