Job Description:

Daily
* Monitor all open incidents and track progress of resolution; notifying upper level management as required. (Lost and stolen equipment incidents are managed differently than other incidents.)
* Close out incidents that have been researched by the agencies; after they submit an email response about their findings to correct/address the issue or submitted a final report.
* Update notes on any tickets as information is rcv'd about the incident.
* Generate daily CSIRM End of Day reports. Send them to the appropriate readers using the Outlook distribution list. (To be emailed out before you leave each day.)
* Monitor the CS-KC Inbox for reported incidents, scanning notices and other issues concerning incidents.
-- Scanning notifications are sent to IDS and Duty Officer as they are received by CS
Weekly
* Reconcile the weekly incident report.
* Generate 20 and 30+ day incident reports. Sending them to the agency ISSPMs
* Generate weekly reports incident reports on all open tickets. Sending them to the ISSPMs.
* Attend or sit in on weekly conference calls with WDC staff on each Thursday.
* Updated and distribute the weekly FISMA reported numbers.
Monthly
* Reconcile the monthly CS Scorecard report.
* Update and distribute the monthly equipment loss report by agency by categories.
* Update and distribute the monthly fiscal year incident report by agency.
Annually
* Update and distribute the fiscal year incident report by agency by categories.
* Update and distribute the fiscal year equipment loss report by agency.
Ad-Hoc
* Provide updates and information to anyone who asks for it. (US-Cert, OIG, agencies, etc.)
* Assist in all other duties as assigned or by request. (Worm/Virus outbreaks, etc.)
