Job Description:

Insulet is currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for their Bedford, MA location. This individual is responsible for contributions to software projects for the company. This person is expected to produce well designed and well tested code, and apply creative solutions to problems.

JOB/ DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES

·Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements embedded software programming applications.
·Ensures that design is in compliance with Company policies, and that software activities are appropriate for the design and maintenance of medical products.
·Write and maintain design documentation and testing requirements.
·Participate in product design reviews.
·All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
·Minimum of 4-6 years of directly related work experience.
·Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent job experience.
·Prior experience with embedded technology
·Demonstrated proficiency in software design concepts.
·Proficient at programming in C for Real-time Embedded Systems. Assembly Language Experience helpful.
·Good working knowledge of microprocessor interface.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Able to generate and maintain accurate records.
