Job Description:

 ROLE: Help Desk

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous customer service call center experience required, specific experience with State Government preferred
Must have strong oral and written English communication skills
Minimum 2 years computer experience including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), email and internet navigation required
Rational ClearQuest or Remedy application experience preferred
Ability to troubleshoot customer issues, diagnose the problem, and log trouble tickets
Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor on the telephone in a high pressure and possibly confrontational environment
Ability to write effectively
Ability to multi-task

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to customer questions regarding application functionality via telephone, fax or email within expected time frames
Log trouble tickets as per established standards
Route calls to Level 2 or other departments as needed
Write call scripts
Learn general functionality of the application across all aspects
Liaison with individual WPA in order to provide on site cross training at the end of the support period
