The Did it technology team is currently looking for a skilled help desk candidate to provide support to staff on all company supported applications at our NYC midtown offices. Troubleshoot computer problems and determine source, and advise on appropriate action. Complete application project-based work. Our work environment is fun and creative, with potential for growth.
What you’ll do:
- Answer staff questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications.
- Troubleshoot computer problems.
- Determine source problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.)
- Advise staff on appropriate action
- Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues.
- Work one-on-one with staff on application projects.
- Document resolutions for future reference.
- Perform hardware and software installations
What you’ll need:
- Knowledge of Windows systems
- Knowledge of Linux
- Basic network architecture
- Knowledge of ping, traceroute, the basic diagnostic tools.
- Experience with Exchange/Outlook etc.
- Knowledge of VPN.
