Department: Systems

Location: Long Island City, NY

Description: Broadview Networks is seeking to fill a permanent, full - time, onsite position. We are looking for responsible, self directed individuals to design and develop applications to automate a variety of business processes.
Java J2EE (Java Certified Programmer a plus)
Experience using structured methodologies
Experience using Open Source development tools (Eclipse, Ant)
SOAP
XML,XSLT
Java Design Patterns, Reflection
Experience developing in a Micrsoft environment, MS SQL Server experience
Additional Open Source technologies a plus (Axis, Hibernate, Spring, Tomcat)
Prior telephony experience (not required)


Requirements:
4 year degree (BS in CS, CIS, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering or other hard science)
3 or more years of professional business experience
4 or more years object-oriented design experience
API development experience
Relational Database experience
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
Good oral and written communication skills
finance experience a plus
