Nexus IS IPCC/IPTel Engineers help identify potential new sales opportunities during engagements, may provide pre-sales technical support for Sales Account Managers for network and system management related service offerings, assist Technical Managers in preparing proposals and solution presentations. Interviewing Network and Systems Management candidates and mentorship of other engineers on technical matters is also a valuable part of the Nexus IS culture. This incoming IPCC Engineer will provide Tier III technical support on a nationwide basis via phone, email, and remote access to customer sites where Cisco Call Manager and Unity applications are deployed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to the following):
•Determine methods and procedures for solving complex technical issues encompassing hardware, software and networking. Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving end-to-end solutions.
•Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, technical tips and white papers.
•Provide mentoring and training to the VoIP Technical Analyst and Network Operators to alleviate single points of failure.
Experience: •Demonstrated experience with the design and deployment of the IPCC Enhanced and Standard application
