Small, dynamic technology company, based in Frederick, MD needs
experienced technical engineers to support our growing
communications division that provides VoIP telephony solutions, remote
network management services, and contact/help desk call center services.

General
* Team player
* Ability to effectively interface with internal stakeholders and

clients

* Ability to travel to client sites, located in the DC metro area and
surrounding areas
Technical
* Experienced with: 3COM PBXs, Linux, routers, switches, servers,
firewalls, network services and cabling. A plus, but not required Avaya,
CISCO VOIP, Asterick, wireless technologies; call centers
* Minimum 2 years experience managing IP networks & WAN circuits (voice
&
data)
* Minimum 2 year experience integrating and maintaining computer and
telephony networks
* Knowledge of conventional telecom & VOIP
* Experience with delivery of custom solutions using off the shelf
servers, applications, and applications (commercial as well as open
source).
* Provide first, second and third tier levels of support to clients
* Experience evaluating systems for security concerns and able to
implement solutions
* Experience implementing system monitoring and uptime solutions
* Research, analyze, and documentation of emerging telecommunications,
data communications, and client/server networking systems.
* Support a team of sales professionals in pre- and post-sales
activities
* Evaluation of clients technology needs based on business needs
* Ability to work without supervision
