Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of WINDOWS servers. Administration of Active Directory, Exchange 2003, and all related systems.

• Manages Active Directory infrastructure and process changes.
• Monitoring system activity and tuning system parameters for optimal performance, configuring communications with other platforms/networks, configuring/managing system security, and maintaining current release levels and patch revisions.
• Responsible for researching and developing tools and procedures for infrastructure systems.
• Evaluates infrastructure performance.
• Provides disaster recovery plan requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION
College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of experience and education

EXPERIENCE
• 3+ yrs exp. with Windows Active Directory, Exchange Server 2003, Advanced Email configurations
• Storage Management Systems a plus (SAN) and related storage management technologies

SKILLS
• Understand TCP/IP protocols - DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SNMP
• Familiar with maintaining production systems, documenting procedures, and developing standards
• Familiar with Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems
• Email troubleshooting experience required, specifically Microsoft Exchange and SMTP email systems
